We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative & Office Ops Lead. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our office, while also playing a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

SUMMARY:
Manage and coordinate office tasks and projects, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion. Identify areas for improvement in office processes and implement solutions, positively impacting team productivity and morale. Collaborate with your team members to resolve issues, and proactively offer solutions and support, while assisting in office operations: administrative support, accounting tasks, and scale operations. Serve as a leader, ensuring clear (and confidential when necessary) communication and exceptional customer service.

- Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma required. AA Degree preferred, or one to three years related experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience required. Microsoft Office experience required. Salvage/auto parts/scrap experience a plus, as well as PRP software.
- Language and Communication Skills: Ability to read, write and interpret in English such as safety rules, supervisor instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write and type routine reports and correspondence. Manage and understand confidentiality.
- Physical Demands: “Light”: Must be able to exert up to 20lbs of force occasionally, or up to 10lbs of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires three or more hours of standing or walking in an eight-hour day. Sitting for occasional periods is required. Stooping and bending required occasionally. Must be able to see, listen and respond to dangerous situations.
- Work Environment: Usually working indoors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent Customer Service: Greet and assist scrap metal customers and visitors
- Learn and identify scrap metal materials and related pricing
- Accounting Duties: Reconciliation, payables, invoices, account balance, receivables, state taxes.
- Support office staff and corporate staff with administrative assistance and leadership
- Develop and maintain Excel monthly reports
- Coordinate assignments and deadlines with corporate accountant maintaining confidentiality when necessary
- Assist GM with cash dispenser duties
- Assist office with opening and closing duties
- Receive packages and deliveries
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or designated manager.
