SUMMARY:
Sells new and used auto parts to, and buys parts from, business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer’s place of business. Develops and enhances existing customer relationships. Solicits new customers and maintains ongoing relationships for Conservit, Inc./ Eagle Auto Parts Location in WV.

- Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience, and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience required. College degree a plus.
- Language and Communication Skills: Ability to read, write and interpret in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Physical Demands: “Light”: Must be able to drive a motor vehicle on a daily basis to visit customers. Exerting up to 20lbs of force occasionally, or up to 10lbs of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires six or more hours of intermittent standing or walking in an eight hour day. Sitting for regular periods is required. Stooping and bending required occasionally. Must be able to see, listen and respond to dangerous situations.
- Work Environment: Usually working indoors with occasional work outdoors or traveling in the elements. Getting in and out of motor vehicle in various weather conditions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compiles lists of prospective customers from information gleaned from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, and other sources for use as sales leads.
- Establishes a sales plan to contact prospective customers
- Displays or demonstrates how Conservit, Inc./ Eagle Auto Parts can assist the customer with their parts needs, emphasizing quality service and delivery.
- Discusses methods of delivery to customer or prospective customer based on knowledge of Conservit, Inc./ Eagle Auto Parts’ production and delivery schedules.
- Prepares reports of business transactions as required and keeps sales logs.
- Works with inside sales representatives and manager in keeping account activities and literature current.
- Coordinates customer needs.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts from business and industrial establishments.
- Investigates and resolves customer complaints.
- Assists in supporting customers and finance with proper credit applications, resale certificates, prices and resale terms.
- Maintains customer database and uploads new customers and other necessary sales data for the business.
- Attends approved trade shows as a Conservit, Inc. representative.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or designated manager.
